Journalists spent Christmas doxxing the 'Let's go Brandon' guy - Washington Examiner

While the rest of us enjoyed unmasked, indoor, cozy Christmas festivities — much to the horror of Anthony Fauci — a number of journalists stuck to work, doing what they do best: doxxing private citizens for having to gall to air their dislike of our Dear Leader.

During the president's annual Christmas tradition of fielding calls tracking the travels of Santa Claus, one caller had the audacity to end his call to President Joe Biden with, "Let's go Brandon," the G-rated euphemism for "F*** Joe Biden."

The past decade has seen effigies of Barack Obama publicly incinerated and lynched on a noose, Kathy Griffin boasting a decapitated dummy head of Donald Trump, and "F*** Donald Trump" and "pussy" hats lionized by the corporate media and the Democratic Party as not just acceptable, but empowering and dignified forms of political protest. Next to all of the actual racism, sexism, and vulgarity charging contemporary political discourse, "Let's go Brandon" is almost quaint in its civility for expressing opposition to the most powerful person on the planet.

And yet, the press spent the holidays clutching their pearls. The Oregonian got to the bottom of the mystery, identifying the caller as a 35-year-old father of four. Within hours, the man's name trended on Twitter, with countless news outlets such as the Daily Beast and the Guardian aggregating the story. Already, the Sun has doxxed the man's wife.

Was using a completely apolitical event geared toward children to voice a political opinion a tad tacky? Sure. Does it warrant any media attention, be it local or national, let alone an entire segment on national television? Obviously, absolutely not.

This is not a press that hold power to account. It's a pack of court hagiographers and propagandists who will silence the legitimate reporting of Hunter Biden profiting off his proximity to the White House while doxxing a forklift operator from the Bronx for posting Facebook videos mocking Nancy Pelosi or Reddit users posting pro-Trump GIFs. The purpose is clear: Terrorize the plebeians into silence, lest they have the nerve to criticize the people in power.
