President Donald Trump once said, according to the 1991 book, “Trumped,” that, “Laziness is a trait in Blacks.” As far as I know, Rep. Pete Stauber has never said anything about it.
Trump also once said, “I like people who weren't captured,” and Rep. Stauber said nothing.
Trump once tweeted, “Jeb Bush has to like the Mexican illegals because of his wife,” and Stauber said nothing.
“There was blood coming out of her everywhere,” Trump said in reference to host Megyn Kelly’s questions in a Fox News debate, and Stauber said nothing.
“Grab them by the pussy,” Trump said while campaigning in 2016, and Stauber said nothing.
“Some (Mexicans) I assume are good people,” Trump once said, and Stauber said nothing.
Trump once claimed President Barack Obama founded ISIS, and Stauber said nothing.
Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Accord, and Stauber didn’t object.
In acknowledging the pope’s belief in global warming, Trump said he did not believe in it, and Stauber said nothing
“Children are taught in school to hate their own country,” Trump once claimed, and Stauber said nothing
Our voting system is “rigged,” Trump repeatedly charged, and Stauber said nothing.
Trump led the claim that Obama isn’t an American citizen,” and Stauber said nothing.
And now, by signing onto a court case in Texas and its attempt to overturn our election, spit in the face of our democratic process, and discard the many votes cast for Joe Biden, Stauber showed his true colors. He can no longer call himself a Republican. He’s a Trumplican.
