Plot
Pauline (Pearl White) plans to spend one crazy year in “absolute freedom” before inheriting her fortune and eventually marrying her drippy fiancé, Harry (Crane Wilbur). Horse racing, hot-air ballooning and plane flying are all on the menu but will be sabotaged each time by greedy henchman Koerner (Paul Panzer), who stands to inherit Pauline’s fortune if she dies.
Action highlight
Climbing down the tether rope of a runaway hot-air balloon (a real stunt) and leaping onto a cliff edge.
