Letter | Hair salons, personal care targeted in latest rules - Santa Cruz Sentinel

jembutikal.blogspot.com

Will somebody please present some data showing how hair salons and personal care services are spreading COVID-19? Once again they are swept up in the governor’s closure rules, but why? All the information coming from our public health officials point to private gatherings, along with nursing homes, as the major way the virus is being transmitted. From where I sit, it looks like these services are being targeted just because they have licenses and so will have to comply, not because they are hotspots for COVID-19 spread. Is it just a punishment then?

The Sentinel welcomes your letters to the editor. Letters should be short, no more than 150 words. We do not accept anonymous letters. Letter-writers should include their full name as well as a street address and telephone number. We don’t publish those details in the newspaper, but need the information for verification purposes. Occasionally, we reject letters simply because we’ve had so many on the same subject. Submit your letters online at https://ift.tt/323VLsP.
