(KNSI) — A St. Cloud man is under arrest and charged with two counts of felony domestic assault after allegedly pulling a woman by her hair.
According to the criminal complaint, St. Cloud police responded to an apartment building on April 5th for a report of a domestic assault in progress. When police arrived, they met with the caller, who said they heard yelling in the hallway, opened her door, and saw a man named Ricky pulling a woman by her hair and push her head against the wall several times. The caller then said the two went into the apartment and slammed the door.
Police tried to make contact with the two, but no one came to the door. Once officers were able to make entry, the woman told them she blacked out in the hallway but does remember walking back into the apartment.
30-year-old Ricky Alan Blomlie was arrested and booked into the Stearns County jail. Bail was set at $15,000. His next court date is April 15th.
Court records show Blomlie has previous convictions for assault in Stearns and Sherburne County.
