Ashley Benson is ushering in summer 2021 with a brand-new hair color: spicy copper red.

The Pretty Little Liars alum debuted her fresh look on Instagram earlier this week with a simple photo featuring the actor posing against a blank wall. She’s donning a black button-down t-shirt and jeans along with several layered necklaces — a simple yet chic outfit that allows her new hair shade to be fully on display.

As for the color, it’s a warm reddish hue that’s a touch darker at her roots and a little lighter and faded at the ends. While she kept her choppy lob in tact, the new shade definitely is a major change from her previously blonde look. “Always wanted to be a redhead,” Ashley captioned the reveal, shouting out hairstylist Anthony Holguin as the mastermind behind her new vibe.

The comments section soon filled up with compliments from Ashley’s fans — along with plenty of encouraging words from fellow celebs. Demi Lovato, Tyler Blackburn, and Kiernan Shipka were among the stars who took a minute to tell Ashley how fire (literally) her new hair color is.
