From the face oil she credits for her famously good glow, to the hair mask she always goes back to, Chrissy Teigen can always be relied upon for the best product recommendations, which she often shares via her Instagram. This week, the model and author has debuted a sharp departure from her natural, classic signature look, joining the hoards of A-listers that have succumbed to the hair transformation this year.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Teigen revealed a glimpse of her new rose-pink lengths, styled both poker-straight (and unbelievably glossy) and in tousled beachy waves. The star credits A-list stylist Irinel de León for her transformation, as well as extension specialist Priscilla Valles for the overnight length.

Of course, transitioning from Teigen’s previous honeyed tones to a cool rose hue isn’t the easiest of feats, and the shade shift was actually a gradual process. Her hair was first lifted several shades to an icy white-blonde, before Valles called on alternative hair-colour staples Manic Panic and Pravana, applying what appears to be a custom blend of two colours to Teigen's waist-length extensions.
"If you guys want to get this colour, mix Manic Panic Cotton Candy with Pravana Rose Quartz," Valles said on her Instagram.

A hair change-up this dramatic might feel like an impulse move, but Teigen seems to have been considering the pink tint for a while now, sporting a similar-looking wig on several occasions. Last month, she even debuted a steely silver look, captioned with “trust me, it’s my midlife.”
