Is it just me, or are autumnal hair colours and haircuts kind of catching right now? It feels like I can't move for chilly-weather hair transformations - and TBQH, i'm not complaining.
We've already chatted about Fringe Season™ (a refresher - it's that time of year, post-summer-peak, where anyone with hair long enough to cut in a fringe considers doing so). So far Michelle Keegan's got a fringe, Courtney Cox's got a fringe, Taylor Swift a curly fringe, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys all have gotten on board. Fringe Season is A Thing. For sure. Just take my word for it.
But something we haven't yet touched upon in Hair Throughout the Seasons 101 is the fact that as soon as the first leaf of Autumn falls, everyone simultaneously colours their hair somewhere between strawberry blonde and auburn. It's a fact. Kinda.
The latest warm transformation comes courtesy of Ashley Benson (AKA eye shadow queen), who shared a snap to Instagram featuring a gorgeous, warm-hued transformation.
It could be the light, but we're detecting serious balayage / panelling vibes here - an awesome way to dip your toe (or, rather, your hair) into new shades without taking the plunge all in one go.
And, as we continue to navigate various national and regional lockdowns, it's likely we're all going to be experimenting with home dyes, once again, so I for one am stoked to see this IG turn into a hair colour mood board.
